•  Responsible for making sure that gage dimensions are good, the details stack up and the gages functions properly

• Create designs using your personal skill and knowledge and utilizing the company’s library of past machines and standard products

• Develop new technologies and ideas; evaluate concepts to improve designs for customers’ orders

• Prepare and guide Detailers through the design and intent of the machine

• Develop 3D machine designs based on quoted descriptions, concepts and references

• Interact with other mechanical engineers, controls engineers, vendors & manufacturing personnel through the design, manufacture & runoff process

Qualifications

• B.S in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent

• Practical application of Geometric Dimension & Tolerance

• AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works and Mechanical and Inventor
